Ocean X | Whale Fall

Whale falls reveal one of the ocean’s most fascinating cycles of life—where a single event can transform into a thriving deep-sea ecosystem.

I created the visual script and led the design and animation for this piece, carrying forward the graphic language established in my previous colossal squid video for OceanX. Using bold color blocks, a cohesive graphic visual system, and expressive motion, I translated complex marine science into an engaging story about the interconnected life hidden beneath the ocean’s surface.
